Palermo – Calatafimi / Segesta
Arrival in Palermo and transfer to the archeological area of Segesta for a short visit of the archelogic park with it’s impressive and untouched Temple „Tempio Dorico”.
After the visit we will pick up our bikes and we will pedal through the olive groves and vineyards to reach Calatafimi – Segesta, the only town survived of the 3 ancient urban settlements of the ancient Elymian civilization; the Elymians were an ancient people who inhabited the western part of Sicily during the Bronze Age and Classical antiquity. Short visit of the city center and then continue pedaling to reach our hotel. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Calatafimi / Sefesta – Scopello – Riserva dello Zingaro – San Vito lo Capo
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Scopello, we will stop at some really beautiful panoramic points like Castellammare and Guidaloca beach. We will stop in the charming Scopello village and then we will continue the road until the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Here we will leave the bikes and we visit by foot this amazing place with it’s fabulous coves; we will cross the Nature reserve and and at the end of the trail we will pick up again our bikes and we will continue pedaling to reach San Vito lo Capo and its’ famous beach. After a stop we will continue along the coast of Macari enjoying the unforgettable panoramas and probably the sunset. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
The totals distance is 60 km by bike + 7 km walking.
Castelluzzo – Macari – Pizzo Cofano – Cornino - Valderice
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out from the hotel. Departure by bikes to reach the coast of Macari and then the Monte Cofano Nature Reserve, stop for a quick lunch enjoying the view on the sea. Then we will continue pedaling on a dirt coastal road until Cornino to visit the grotto of Mangiapane. Continue padaling on a coastal road to reach Tonnara di Bonagia, here you will have a choice – to pedal the last 6 km uphill until the hotel or to take advantage of a private transfer. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Valderice – Erice - Trapani
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Departure to visit Erice – a fabulous medieval village located on the hilltop and offering spectacular panorama. The distance to Erice is 7 km, the elevation gain is 500 m, in case this ascent is too difficult for you, there will be a possibility to take e minibus. Visit of Erice town and free time for lunch and relax. In the afternoon departure for Trapani, we will pedal downhill on a comfortable road enjoying fabulous views on the archipelago of the Egadi Islands. Arrival in Trapani, short visit of the town, check in at the hotel. Free time for dinner, overnight in hotel.
Trapani – Favignana - Trapani
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port and departure by ferry to Favignana island.Today we will discover this beautiful island and its’ spectacular beaches by bike. We will visit a museum of Tonnara of Favignana famous for its’ evocative fishing images. You will have free time for a tasty lunch in one of the local fish restaurants and for a refreshing bath in the crystal clear waters.
Return to Trapani by ferry, free time for dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Trapani - Marsala
After the breakfast departure to Saline di Trapani Nature Reserve, we will enjoy spectacular colours and scents of the surrounding landscape, we will see the typical salt mountains and windmills and also some species of Mediterranean migratory birds if we will be lucky. Free time for lunch and individual visits in Motya ancient dock and continuation to Marsala. Arrival in Marsala for a visit of the town and for a wine and local products’ tasting.

Marsala - Selinunte
After the breakfast departure along the coastal road to Mazara del Vallo, It is an agricultural and fishing centre and its port gives shelter to the largest fishing fleet in Italy. Visit of the historical centre called ‘Kasbah’and known for the Arab architectural influences. We will continue pedaling on the coastal road and we will reach Granitola cape – wild and windy seaside resort, a meeting place for wind-surf and kite-surf enthusiasts. Free time for lunch and departure to Cusa caves – an ancient stone quarry, its stone was used to construct the temples in the ancient greek city Selinunte.
From here you will have a choice – continue pedaling the last 15 km to reach the hotel or to do this distance in a minibus. Arrival at the hotel, check in and free time for a rest.
Farewell dinner and overnight.
